Project Runway is down to the top 5 as the designers were seen griping at the apartment that Suede should have gone home, not Joe. The designer’s then all headed to the Parson’s building to see what the glamorous Ms. Klum had in store with them. Heidi first announced that the model herd had to be thinned out a bit as the designers had not used them in the last challenge. After it was all said and done, three models hit the bricks and after some snipping at each other in the sidebars about not letting things ride as far as the models go as Leanne picked Suede’s model, Heidi sent them off to see Tim and see what was the next challenge.

In the work room Tim announced that the designers would be designing for each other and said that Suede would be designing for Jarell. Kenley will be designing for Leanne; Korto for Suede; Jerell for Kenley and Leanne for Korto. You could see the individual looks on the designers faces as they all knew that the designer they were designing for could deliberately sabotage them if they so desired. Tim added that a musical genre would be an influence. Kenley’s influence was Pop; Suede’s was Punk; Korto’s was Country and Leanne ’s was Hip-Hop and Jerell’s was Rock and Roll.
Tim then gave them all an hour to meet and then sent them off to buy fabrics for the designs and told them they had until 1:00 AM to finish their designs. The designers all seemed to be getting along fairly decently, except Kenley, who has had a bit of trouble relating to everybody, including Tim and the Judges.

With 5 hours left in the night, Jerell was seen bragging about his last several wins and the other designers were tiring of his antics. Suede was gripping that he was not Punk Rock even though people think he looked like a Punk Rocker. Suede said that he had dressed his fair share of Pop Stars and was not worried about the challenge. Korto was actually seen having a good time when she began to get into the whole country bit. Kenley was seen trying on her mesh outfit and looked a little shy but seem to get into it when she saw herself.
Tim was in to chat up the designers and was first to Jerell and loved his design. He was next to Leanne and worried that the design may be too much like a costume. Tim talked to Korto and worried about her design being to clichà and too basic. Suede was next to talk about his Rock ‘n Roll outfit and said that it didn’t look “Ramped up” enough. Kenley was last and Tim was severely questioning her design by saying that she didn’t seem to get the whole Hip-Hop culture. Kenley basically dissed Tim and said that he didn’t know anything about Hip-Hop anyway.

With 1 hour left, Kenley was again saying that Tim doesn’t understand her and the other designers were anxious to see her crash and burn at the Runway show the next day. Korto was worried about her whole design and Suede was sweating his design as well saying that the judges were going to “Totally hate this design or they were going to love it.” which is what they usually think about every design.
Day of The Runway Show found Jerell thinking about once again doing dear old Suede in but knew the judges might see through it. The designers were in early when Tim said they had an hour to get themselves to the TRESemme salon and to the Runway. Heidi greeted the judges since she didn’t have to say hello to the designers as they were all preparing to walk the Runway. Heidi said hello to guest judge, LL Cool J, and started the show and the designers walked out.

Korto was out first with Leanne’s Country outfit and looked pretty country; Kenley was second out with Jerell’s Pop look and it looked more disco than pop; Leanne was next out with the so-called Hip-Hop look that looked nothing like Hip-Hop; Suede was next to prance the Runway as a Punk Rocker from Korto and Jerell was last out with Suede’s Rock and Roll look, which wasn’t half-bad.

With the judging done, Heidi had each designer explain their design to the judges. Heidi announced that only three would survive to show at fashion week and commenced with the scathing of the designs. Korto was first to explain and the design was overall loved by the judges. Suede explained his Rock and Roll outfit, but was not overall feeling the love from the judges. Jerell explained his Pop take to the judges and overall, the judges saw the design as fairly complete. Kenley explained Hip-Hop and her definition did nothing for the judges. LL said it was not Hip-Hop at all saying that Leanne didn’t look like a part of the culture. As usual, Kenley argued, which may mean the end of the line for her. Leanne finished by explaining her Country look and the judges were luke-warm about the design.

After the judges confabbed, the judges were hot on Jerell and Korto, and luke-warm on Suede, Kenley and Leanne, hating on Kenley the most. Heidi announced that one would be out and announced Korto the winner of the challenge. Heidi then announced Jerell as safe as well as Leanne, leaving Kenley and Suede to seat it out. Heidi said Suede played it safe and that Kenley had no attitude about Hip-Hop and then announced Suede as “Auwt” and off he went to clean his stuff out.
Next week the explosive final kick-off happens as the designers fight for the top three spots in the big Runway show.
