Is Spencer Pratt Stirring Things Up On The Hills?

Spencer Pratt, from The Hills, is denying that he spread the rumour that Lauren Conrad had a relationship with Audrina Partridge’s beau Justin Bobby. He is feeling like Lauren Conrad’s scapegoat whenever she needs to be bailed out.

He told USmagazine.com, “I guess I shouldn’t be surprised anymore that LC would choose to try and blame something on me,” Pratt told Us. “The truth is I was asked about this yesterday and chose to say absolutely nothing out of respect for Audrina’s feelings. Why LC continues to bring me up whenever she gets into trouble is beyond me.”

He also commented, ”That being said, if it is true what she did with Justin, it doesn’t surprise me. Anyone who watched Laguna Beach saw her trying to steal someone’s boyfriend every week for 2 years. Honestly, I really think she needs to stop blaming someone who wants nothing to do with her for all of the problems she creates.”

This past Friday there was a buzz that Lauren had gotten together with Audrina’s on again/off again beau Justin Brescia and Lauren came to her own defense to USweekly stating, “I’m accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar. I would never hurt a friend like that!”

Lauren later hinted on her MySpace page that Spencer has something to do with the whole rumour writing, “Hmmmmmm. I wonder who it could be? I’m baffled….What kind of person would enjoy watching blogs and the press tear me apart?”

Audrina Partridge also responded about the rumour on her own website this past Friday, but she didn’t say whether the rumours were true or false. “I woke up this morning and it seems like just about every gossip magazine or blog has a story about Lauren hooking up with Justin,” Patridge wrote. “I’m not sure what to believe. Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful. I can’t comment on whether they are true or false.”

Audrina moved out of Lauren’s L.A. mansion this past September.
