‘NASCAR Angels’ Reality TV Show ‘Extreme Makeover Home Edition’ Nascar Style

Straight from the heart of NASCAR, the mission of “NASCAR Angels” is to find deserving people, share their stories and fix their cars in a show that celebrates the best in all of us. It’s “Pimp My Ride” meets “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”- NASCAR Style.

This week’s episode features Katy Fuller of Kansas City, a teenager who suffers from Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), who inspired “NASCAR Angels” to fix her family’s 1996 Grand Marquis.

Their car is used for taking the family members to volunteer events and Katy’s therapeutic horseback riding lessons (the only treatment that has helped Katy).

The car has more than 130,000 miles on it and needs extensive repairs, but with money tight, the repairs can’t be made by her family. The “NASCAR Angels” teamed up with CARSTAR Collision Centers in Overland Park, Kanas and others to restore the family’s car.

Rusty Wallace, former NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion and current ABC/ESPN broadcaster, and Shannon Wiseman, NASCAR.COM talent host the weekly show. Top NASCAR drivers such as Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson make regular appearances to help the NASCAR Angels make repairs. Full episodes are currently available HERE and HERE.
