Top Chef: New York Premieres Tonight!

Well, the long awaited season five of Top Chef begins tonight and the show takes us to New York! The new chef hopefuls range in age from 21 to 44 years old and come from all over the USA with a wide variety of culinary credentials. According to all reports, this Top Chef has got some major surprises up its sleeve…

This season of Top Chef: New York will feature guest appearances by several culinary and mainstream stars including Martha Stewart, The Foo Fighters, Jean-Georges, Eric Ripert, Rocco DiSpirito, Wylie Dufresne, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Natasha Richardson.

Once again, host Padma Lakshmi will be joined by judges Tom Colicchio and Food & Wine magazine editor Gail Simmons. This season a new judge will be joining them,Toby Young.
