Three months ago, 16 people arrived on The Biggest Loser ranch to change their lives; Parents and their children and Husbands and Wife’s. Now with two weeks left, we are that much closer to finding out who will be this season’s Biggest Loser. With a spouse pair in Ed and Heba and a Mother/Daughter team in Michelle and Renee, and one of the most cunning players to ever travel through the Biggest Loser Ranch doors, Vicky, it really is anybody’s game as you would be hard pressed to see a favorite from the bunch.
To date, the Losers have lost 355 lbs between them with Heba coming in at 70 lbs lost and Ed at 83 lbs lost. Michelle and Renee have lost 66 and 68 lbs and Vicky had equalled Renee at 68 lbs with the weightestants heading to New York City for a meeting with the Project Runway winner, Christian Siriano, and a fashion makeover for their new bodies with a live reveal on the Tyra banks show.

The Losers headed to New York for the big fashion makeover and the meeting with Christian Siriano. Heba was so excited to see the tiny Siriano that she picked him up and smothered him in her formally massive, but still big compared to Siriano, arms and spun him around. Guess she was a fan. the others were glad to meet him as well and Christina began the confab with the Losers t get a sense of their style.

It was like watching an episode of Project Runway all over again as Siriano was fitting the Losers and then sent them off to hair and makeup to get ready for the Tyra Banks show. It was fun to watch the Losers all go to some nice duds as all we had seen them in up to this point were sweats and, well, sweats. Even Vicky managed to clean up fairly nicely as we got to see them all reveal their new styles and see old friends and family members in the process. Especially touching was the visit that Ed had with his Dad and how proud you could tell he was of him. In th final treat from the show, Christian announced that Macy’s had given them each a $1000 gift card to help complete their wardrobe.

The next stop was in Times Square where the Losers were treated to a message from Bob and Jillian telling them that it was not all fun and games in the Big Apple and that they were headed to the gym to exercise with their family members or some other great options that the City held for them. Each seemed to pick a different exercise route but they all got into the challenge fro the trainers. The most heartwarming moments were between Michelle and her Dad and Michelle telling him that they were working on their relationship.
With the fun and games out of the way, it was back to work at the ranch as the Losers were aiming to get rid of another of the pack setting the stage for the finals. Jillian was pretty unconcerned with the fashion makeover and nothing could have been more clear when Jillian said, “I don’t care about makeovers, I don’t care about your family. I don’t care about anything. All I care about is that your ass gets smaller. That’s it. Ass. Smaller. I don’t care about anything else.” Ya gotta love Jillian!

The challenge was another water deal as the weightestants were wedged in a box above the water with a 2 week trip to a fitness resort awaiting the winner. Vicky, presumably not caring so much for the trip, was out quickly , followed by Heba and then Ed. That Ed has been the weakest contestant for a guy on TBL as he has won few challenges and not lost that much more weight than the women. In the end, Renee was the last too let go, sending Michelle in the winner’s circle and collecting a nice 2 week vacation.
The lance chance were as brutal as ever and Bob seemed confident that his team would still be in place. Jillian seemed to be moving with an ever increasing intensity knowing that the numbers were against her and that if either of the remaining team members in Michelle and Renee went below the line, they were gone.
The Weigh-In:
Alison stressed the importance of this weigh-in and got the remaining five up on the scales.
Vicky- lost 4 for a total of 2.22%
Renee- lost 4 for a total of 2.01%
Michelle- lost 5 for a total of 2.84
Ed- lost 3 for a total of 1.19
Heba- lost 7 for a total of 3.13%
Renee and Ed dipped below the yellow line and Ed, based on his total lack of real weight-loss alone, should be going home tonight, but we know that it will not happen. The Queen Bee Vicky has her sights on the final three, and it doesn’t include Renee or Michelle.

With the voting a non-event, the tearful goodbye between mother and daughter was enough to pull at the heartstrings. Renee went home in no drama whatsoever and looked fabulous at the after photos when she had declared going from a size 22 to a size 8. There is no doubt that the lady has made a huge change in her life and now has the hot new looks to show for it.
Next week we see the final three and we can only hope it includes Michelle.
