Dancing With The Stars: Julianne Hough To Sing At The New Year’s Atlanta Peach Drop

Dancing With the Stars pro dancer, turned country music singer, Julianne Hough will be performing at this year’s Atlanta Peach drop New Year’s Eve. The Atlanta Journal says that she is headlining the show and will hit the stage 30 minutes before the 800 pound fiberglass-and-foam Georgia Peach is dropped to ring in 2009.

Julianne Hough is a two-time winner of Dancing With the Stars and has recently hit the top of the country music charts with her self-titled debut album that she released last May. She will perform in front of a crowd of at least 100,000 people.

The celebration is free and starts at noon New Year’s Eve, with children’s activities and entertainment. Music on the Main Stage begins at 6 p.m.
