American Idol: Simon Cowell Building A Mansion

It wasn’t all fun in the sun for American Idol judge, Simon Cowell last week when he was spotted in Barbados for what seemed like a quick vacation before he returns to the hit show for another season. According to the UK Daily Mirror, he is building a $14.5 million dollar estate on the sunny island.

Simon Cowell doesn’t plan to live in Barbados full time though according to the Mirror. The mansion will be a vacation home when he needs a quick Caribbean getaway.

The 6 bedroom retreat is situated on 10 spectacular acres and will feature a helipad for private landings. The mansion will alsohave all of the latest gizmos and boys toys including an indoor cinema and a swimming pool with a poolside bar.

The new bachelor pad will be the second mansion he owns in Barbados. He already owns a $7.2 millionestate there, where he spent last week vacationing with his ex-girlfriend Sinitta and her two children.
