American Idol: Kara DioGuardi Is Engaged

The eighth season of American Idol kicked off last night and Kara DioGuardi is not only a new judge, but she is going to be a new wife too!

Kara DioGuardi was engaged on December 8th while on vacation in Mexico. Her fiance, Mike McCuddy is a general contractor and a dad! He has a son from a previous relationship.

Kara DioGuardi’s rep confirmed the engagement and said, “No wedding date has been planned.”

Kara DioGuardi was introduced to American Idol fans last night as the eighth season of the show premiered on FOX . She held her own next to her fellow seasoned judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul…now ifeveryone can just get her name right!
