Dancing With the Stars: John McCain Tells Wife Cindy She Cannot Dance On The Show

Senator John McCain was quick to offer his wife as a contestant for the Miss Buffalo Chips competition at bike week in Sturgis, South Dakota recently, but whenCindy McCainshowed a desire to actually participate in something a lot less deeming like Dancing With The Stars, he said no!

A source has said that Cindy McCain began talks with Dancing With The Stars producers to appear on the show just before Thanksgiving and this was something that Cindy McCain had a strong desire to do. This week however, her husband, Senator John McCain apparently “put the kibosh on it.”

So, it is okay for Senator John McCain to have a little fun making appearances onSaturday Night Live and David Letterman while his poor wife has to sit at home hoping she won’t have to be the next Miss Buffalo Chips! That doesn’t seem fair to us.

So far reps for ABC’s hit show and the Senator have not returned any calls to confirm the rumor.
