Dancing With the Stars: Kevin Federline Is Not Joining Dancing With The Stars

There were rumors going aroundthis weekthat Kevin Federline was going to be joining Dancing With The Stars , butthe record has been set straight… hisrep reports that those rumors are just “not true!”

Many websites have been reporting that Kevin Federlinewas in talks with producers to join the cast for season 8 of Dancing With The Stars which starts in March. A source even said, “His career isn’t exactly where he wants it to be. Kevin wants to get back into shape and welcomes anyone who can help him.”

Most of Kevin Federline’s life has been on the dance floor… hehas danced for Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, and even Michael Jackson! In the past few years though he has mainly been known as the father of Britney Spear’s children and is seen more as a has-been in the business industry.

IfKevin Federline were to do Dancing With The Stars he may have a leg up on the competition, but he probably wouldn’t have the backing of the viewing audience and would likely be voted off pretty quickly.This would not be a boost to a guy’s egowho is trying to make it back into the music industry and something that Kevin Federline’s agentsshould probably discourage.

The next season of Dancing With The Stars returns March 9 to ABC.
