American Idol: Ace Young Will Host American Idol Extra

Season 5 contestant, Ace Young will be back on Fox this season. He has been asked to host American Idol Extra with Fox utility player Jillian Reynolds. This is the fourth season that Fox has included the behind the scenes look at the Idol contestants and this season the show will be shot from the American Idol stage for the very first time. Idol Extra provides viewers with weekly highlights andincludes exclusive interviews of the contestants, their friends and family.

Brett Asa Ace Young received national recognition when he appeared on the fifth season of American Idol. Ace was eliminated from the competition on April 19, 2006,finishingin seventh place.

Idol Extra will premiere on Thursday, March 26, at 7 PM ET. Nine episodes will air leading up to Fox’s broadcast of the American Idol finale.
