The Bachelor Meets General Hospital

The world of reality TV meets the world of soap operas, when The Bachelor pays a visit to General Hospital. For this week’s group date, Jason Mesnick will take six bachelorettes on a behind-the-scenes visit to ABC’s General Hospital. On the daytime soap, the bachelorettes will get to act out their secret fantasies with Jason. They will also get to meet General Hospital stars Bradford Anderson and Kirsten Storms.

The nine remaining bachelorettes will compete for a one-on-one date with Jason Mesnick by composing and performing a song. One bachelorette can’t handle the pressure and breaks down into tears. The other bachelorettes’ performances include opera, country, and even a lullaby. After listening to the songs, Jason will select the winner for a truly intimate dinner date.

In addition to the one-on-one date and group date, Jason will also take two bachelorettes on a two-on-one date. The date will include both ballroom dance lessons and some romantic waltzing under the stars. One of the two bachelorettes will receive a rose, and the other bachelorette will be immediately sent home.

At the rose ceremony, Jason makes a last minute decision which proves to be rather shocking. The Bachelor airs on Monday, January 26 from 8 PM to 9:30 PM ET on ABC.
