Dancing With the Stars: Karina Smirnoff Undergoes Knee Surgery

Dancing With the Stars pro, Karina Smirnoff, is on the mend after undergoing knee surgery this past Friday. Karina Smirnoff’s rep said that the procedure Karina Smirnoff had was minor. According to reports, her injury was the result of wear and tear and not a specific incident.

“She is resting comfortably and is expected to make a full recovery. She’s looking forward to the new season of Dancing With the Stars,” the rep said.

Karina Sminoff who became engaged to anotherDancing With the Stars proMaksim Chmerkovskiy, this past New Year’s Eve had to sit out ofa performance with her partnerFriday due to the surgery. Hopefully she will be back on her feet and fit enoughin time for season 8.

The celebrity cast list is going to be revealed on Sunday February 8 during ABC primetime and season 8 of Dancing With the Stars begins March 9.
