American Idol: Bikini Girl In Playboy?

Well, it seems that Simon Cowellmay be psychic and hisprediction for Katrina Darrell aka Bikini Girl is right on the money. He said that she would go far on Wednesday night when she got the boot off of American Idol, along with two otherTeam Diva contestants. Since being on the show she says she has had many different offers, including one fromPlayboymagazine!

Katrina Darrell has been involved with a few interviews as well since being cast off of American Idol, including an interview with Ryan Seacrest where she attempted to set the record straight about her appearance on the show.

When Ryan Seacrest asked if looking back on her American Idoldays, did she still think that wearing the bikini to the audition was a good idea, Katrina Darrell replied, “In a sense, I shouldn’t have worn the bikini, but I’m a risk taker and I think you should live every day like it’s our last. And it was 110 degrees in Phoenix, and I wanted a chance.”

Katrina Darrell would not agree that she was in part to blame for all of the drama during group round and felt that her team mates were indeed out to sabotage her. She told Ryan Seacrest that the other girls on Team Diva, “threw me under a bus!”

Katrina Darrelldid agree that it was her time to exit from American Idol and that she has even bigger plans in the works such as a career in singing and being a Victoria’s Secret model.

We are not sure how many Playboy Bunny’s have turned to Victoria Secret, but Katrina Darrell does stand to make a lot of money from her short lived stint on American Idol. Whether you like the girl or not, it will be interesting to see where she turns up next!
