Dancing With the Stars: Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff Are Already Talking Babies

Dancing With the Stars pro dancers, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff, recently got engaged this past New Year’s Eve and it seems that they are not only planning the wedding, but are planning their family as well. Although the couple have only been dating since September of this past year, they actally met each other when they were teenagers on the pro dancing circuit.

The pair joked with each other in an interview with People magazineabout the differences between boys and girls maturity development and the fact that when they were teenagers, they never noticed each other. “You know how boys tend to develop slower than girls?”Maksim Chmerkovskiy asked People. “A lot slower!”Karina Smirnoff chimed in. Back then, she adds, “I never looked at him seriously.”

It may not be long after their wedding this year before we see Katrina Smirnoff posing next to her new husband with a baby bump. The couple told People that they are looking toward their future as parents and the ever playful Maksim Chmerkovskiy said “Our kids would be rock stars.” He added, “They’re going to be like royalty.”

With Dancing With the Stars being as popular as it is, he could very well be right about that. The pros are already worshipped in the ballroom dance world andadored by all of their fans!
