Dancing With The Stars: Tom Bergeron Promotes New Book On Facebook

Dancing With The Stars host Tom Bergeron is on Facebook and is using the site to promote his autobiography I’m Hosting as Fast as I Can which will be released on April 7! He is also recording the audio for a book-on-tape version as well.

“I’ve sent the book to a few friends, including Carl Reiner and Henry Winkler,” he told the Boston Herald. “Henry told me he’s about 100 pages into it and he’s really enjoying it.”

The ABC Dancing With The Starsfunny guy,hasshared funnytid-bitsabout the good old days at WBZ in Boston for his 1,000-plus Facebook friends and according to the Boston Herald, he talks about the time he intervieweda very impatient Buffalo Bob Smith and Howdy Doody which turned out to be funny, but wasn’t exactly appropriate for a family newspaper andanother interview when Heather Mills straddled him to crack his back. Tom Bergeron also includes encounters he had such as one with funny lady Whoopi Goldberg Hollywood Squares regularand now The View host and another withthe paparazzi.

Tom Bergeron is a smart man andhas chosen a perfect venue to promote his book, although he is getting a little ribbing about it from a few friends. He told the Boston Herald, “Bill Flaherty, a producer of mine from WBZ, joked that I was using Facebook to ‘pimp’ my book.”
