Sanjaya Malakar Loves Kara DioGuardi as an American Idol Judge

Well, it is clear that Kara DioGuardi has one fan from past American Idol contestants! Sanjaya Malakar, the kid everyone found irresistable during season 6 says that Kara Dioguardi is “revitalizing” the hit reality TV show. Sanjaya Malakar believes that Kara DioGuardi adds new and much needed life to the judges table which we guess he was thinking was getting a bit stale?

It was announced during the off season that Kara DioGuardi would be joining Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson when the new season of American Idolstarted. It was long suspected that she was the stepping stone to the show getting rid of Paula Abdul once her contract was up which still remains to be seen. Others suggest that either Simon Cowell or Randy Jackson will be the ones leaving.

Sanjaya Malakarmakes it clear that he thinks having Kara DioGuardi is a great addition to American Idol. “I think it’s weird to see four judges, but she’s obviously qualified,” he said. “And she’s bringing something new. The other three judges have been there so long, it must be hard for them to come up with new things to say because a lot of thesingers sound the same.”

Maybe it shouldn’t be too surprising that Sanjaya Malakar loves Kara DioGuardi. It isn’t like the other three judges really ever loved him. They made it clear that he was not their favorite and believe that he only stayed in as long as he did because of the younger voters that just thought he was too cute to vote him off of American Idol.What do you think?
