Dancing With the Stars: Lacey Schwimmer Says Steve-O Is A Dark Horse

Dancing With The Stars professional dancer, Lacey Schwimmerwas known for her performances on So You Think You Can Dance until she hit the dance floor on Dancing With The Stars last season. She and Lance Bass placed third overall and rocked the ballroom dance world with their unique take on many of the dances. This season Lacey Schwimmer is partnered with Jackass star Steve-O and she has plenty to say about him.

Lacey describes Steve-O, the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College graduate, as the “dark horse” of the competition, telling People magazine, “I keep getting these messages on Myspace or on Facebook and they’re like, ‘Oh, man, you and Steve-O. I’m so sorry.’ I look at them and think they have no idea about this guy.”

Thecouple have been rehearsing for five hours a day to prepare themselves for their first routine and Lacey Schwimmer told People that she was amazed by his work ethic. “He’s just such a hard worker and we’re in very intense rehearsals everyday.”

Lacey Schwimmer and Steve-O will likely surpriseus with their dances this season as they are incorporating Steve-O’sclown college movesinto their routines. Lacey Schwimmer said, “Steve-O’s talent is unique for “DWTS,” “He has these really interesting tricks that he can do that I’ve never seen anyone on the show do before.”
