The Biggest Loser Couples, or whatever it has morphed into now, finds an uneasy feeling at the ranch as the unsettled nature of the latest twist is still taking its toll on the Losers. Even the trainers have had their feelings jumbled around, with trainer Bob Harper seeming to take it the hardest. With a 24 hour bike-riding challenge giving the newly-formed Black Team a three pound advantage going into tonight’s weigh-in, the real challenge will be motivating the teams at the Last Chance Workout.
Allison Sweeney met the losers with another Pop Challenge with Allison Sweeney and the editor of Prevention Magazine challenging the Losers with basic diet and health questions. Black Team took an early lead and Filipe sealed the deal by answering a question about squats and the overall health benefits over pushups.

The Last Chance Workout was brutal as Jillian tortured her new team members not really caring about who loved her or not. Even some of the members seem to finally realize that a change was indeed good as they worked harder than they had ever worked before. Even Bob got into the torture of his new team and sent the members into overdrive as they prepped for the weigh-in.

The Weigh-In
Bob was concerned about the three pound advantage that the Black Team had going into the weigh-in because he said that he trained most of them and that they were tough as a group. Allison said that each team was equally matched but that one member would be leaving tonight from one of the teams.
Blue started the weigh-in:
Dane lost 13 pounds, giving him a 100 pound weight loss in eight weeks, giving the Blue Team a .78% weight-loss to start
Aubrey lost 5 pounds, giving the Blue Team a 1.09% weight-loss
Mandi lost 7 pounds, giving the Blue Team a 1.51% weight-loss
Ron lost 5 pounds, giving the Blue Team a 1.81% total weight loss
Kristin lost 10 pounds, giving the Blue Team a 2.41% total weight loss
Cathy lost 14 pounds, giving the Blue Team a total team weight loss of 3.26%
Black Team Weigh-In (Started with a 3 pound advantage .19):
Helen lost 7 pounds, giving the Black Team a .64%
Laura lost 8 pounds, giving the Black Team a 1.15%
Tara lost 11 pounds, giving the Black Team a 1.86%
Mike lost 10 pounds, giving the Black Team a 2.50%
Filipe lost 8 pounds, giving the Black Team a 3.01%
Sione lost 10 pounds, giving the Black Team a total weight-loss of 3.65% and keeping them safe from elimination.

Allison sent the Blue Team to deliberate who was headed home and it really seemed like Ron was the natural choice as he could not really compete on a scale that is fitting The Biggest Loser. Ron, surprising enough, acted like he really wanted to stay, probably more for his son Mike. Dane and Ron got into a “Who wants to stay more” contest and Ron was definitely on the short end of the stick when it came to who could best keep the team competitive.
The first vote was cast by Aubrey for Kristin, in a bit of a surprise; Dane voted for Ron to go; Mandi voted for Ron to go; Ron voted for Dane in no surprise; Cathy voted for Dane and Kristin voted with her mom and sent Dane home in a shocking turn for the Blue Team as they sent home a strong player that would probably have taken them far at the weigh-ins.

With only the weeks ahead to judge their decision, we saw that Dane had lost the 100 pounds while at the ranch and started to run marathons with his wife to add to his weight-loss.
