Dancing With the Stars: Denise Richards Hopes To Have Fun On The Dance Floor

The Wild Things actress Denise Richards, is set to hit the dance floor this season on Dancing With The Stars and for her, the competition is all about having fun. Denise Richardsis pumped tohave her own rooting section this season onDancing With The Stars, as her daughters Sam (4)and Lola (3)are just as excited about the show as she is.

Before considering to do Dancing With The Stars, Denise Richards consulted with her girls who are big fans of Denise’s dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy who they lovingly call, Maksy-pooh according to a TV Guide interview.

The girls have been a big supporter of their mom and when Denise Richardstold herolder daughter, Sam that she was nervousshe replied, “Don’t be nervous, Mom! Just take a deep breath.”

“Both of my girls are excited about it,” Denise Richards told TV Guide. “Sam wants me to wear a rainbow dress for the first [dance]. I don’t know if I’ll be doing that, but…. This will be fun for them.”

Denise isn’t sure how many weeks the viewers will keep her on the show, but she is hoping that Maksim Chmerkovskiy “can bring the dancer out of me” and if he does then she promises shewill do the wild thing on the dance floor. She told TV Guide, “Sure, why not. Why not have fun with it?”

Watch for Denise Richards when Dancing With The Stars premieres its new season on Monday, March 9 at 8 PM on ABC.
