Dancing With the Stars: Shawn Johnson Says, No Lucky Charm For Her!

This week, Denise Richards showed off her lucky charm that she was given by former Dancing With The Stars contestant Jane Seymour.Denise Richard’scompetition Shawn Johnson however,says she doesn’t need a lucky charm to take home the mirror ball trophy this season on Dancing With The Stars !

“I don’t believe in lucky charms,” Shawn Johnson told The Insider. “I have never had one and I probably never will. I am my lucky charm.”

Shawn Johnson who is the youngest competitor ever on Dancing With The Stars says that there is one thing that is difficult for her during rehearsals. “The scary part is letting myself go,” she admits while trying to learn a salsa with her pro partner Mark Ballas.

Shawn Johnson is also getting accustomed to wearing high heels during her rehearsals, something that is definately new tothe Olympic gold medalist. I am used to being barefoot [in gymnastics], so it is awkward,” she says of the three inch heels that she wears to match up in height withMark Ballas on the dance floor. Shawn Johnson is only 4′ 11″ tall!

Dancing With The Stars kicks off on March 9 at 8 PM ET on ABCwith an all-new celebrity cast and some new dance professionals as well!
