The Biggest Loser Couples left us with the weight of the world on Mike’s shoulders as we faded out at the end of last week. What was at stake was whether Mike’s weight-loss would be enough to not send anyone home or one from each team would go home presuming at the beginning of the show if Mike didn’t lose more than nine pounds. With the weight situation resolved,The Biggest Loser Couples then moves to anarchy of the Black Team as Jillian incites the wrath of Filipe and the rest of the Black Team in their training.
Mike stepped on the scale and with the fear streaming across his face, the big scale danced back and forth and we saw eleven pounds drop on the dial and the teams were safe as Mike is looking to be the person to beat at this point. Allison sent Bob and Jillian off and told the teams to meet her in the courtyard for another challenge of some sort.
Allison said that there is no more of the yellow line but it would be person-against-person for individual glory and points for the teams this week. The Losers were to hold a ball in their laps and the last person standing, or sitting, would get to decide who would go head-to-head in the weigh-in.

The Losers sat in a squatting position and Ron and Cathy of the Blue Team were out immediately. Aubrey was out next with Mandi was the only one for the Blue sitting. Filipe and Mike dropped quickly after that and Tara and Mandi were battling for the choice to match up people to compete against each other. Mandi dropped her ball and Tara picked up another little victory and was in the prime position to choose the pairings for the weigh-in.
Tara was seen second guessing herself knowing that one bad decision could cost them the new weigh-in match-ups and finally seemed to be comfortable with her decision. Tara chose Mike and Cathy to be paired off followed by Sione vs Mandi; Filipe vs Kristin; Helen vs Ron and, finally, Aubrey vs Laura in the final match up.
What was the overconfidence of the Black Team looked as thought would be their down fall as the Black Team began to unravel before our very eyes.

Day 2 had Bob getting to the ranch to coach his team and get them ready for their challenge. The Blue team was being pushed more than ever before as Bob knew that it was more personal than ever before. Mani thought she had the hardest week ever as she knew that Sione was a monster in the gym. Jillian was a bit concerned that the Black Team was getting a bit complacent in their training and Filipe reached the point of no return thinking that Jillian was paying no attention to training him saying that “This was the first time I felt alone in the gym.”
Day 4 had the teams heading to 24 hour fitness for their next challenge where the Losers were going to participate in a relay race. First part of the relay race was taking medicine balls through the water to the next Loser would carry them up stairs. Black Team was the first with the twenty-four medicine balls and Sione was off and running the medicine balls up the stairs. Cathy finally was running the balls up the stairs for Blue and Tara was already on the third lap taking the medicine balls under the obstacle course.

Mandi was beginning to catch up with Tara at the final leg thinking that Helen was a weaker link in the Black chain. Aubrey was determined to make a difference in the Blue’s winning streak, but, at the end, the Blue Team was unable to make up the difference of the Black Team’s sizable lead as the Black Team continued their undefeated streak.
Day 5 had the Black Team going off in their day of luxury and the Blue Team used the time to train like they had never trained before. Black Team’s pampering was at a beach front resort in the Presidential Suite and you could tell that the Black Team was not concerned about training or eating well as they ordered off of a fancy menu saying that they would still beat the Blue Team at the weigh-in.
The humorous part of the Black Teams fancy dinner was that most of the Black team members ate over 5000 calories at the dinner alone with the Black Team consuming over 15,000 calories on their night out with all of the extra food and alcohol binging the team did.

Day 6 had the Black team with a pleasure hang-over with the effects of too much rich foods and alcohol taking a toll on their dedication to the challenge at hand. Jillian was in to see how her team fared on the challenge and was shocked at what she learned. Jillian asked them about their food and alcohol consumption and soon got it out of them that they had taken giant steps backward in their training when she found out about their binging.
Filipe took the opportunity to rail on Jillian by telling her that she was ignoring him in his training. Filipe went off like a spoiled little boy and the Black Team was completely unraveling before our eyes, mostly due to winning a reward and not having the dedication to recognize that they were still in training. What was even more telling was that Sione decided to go with his cousin, even after Jillian spent concentrated time with him after the team switch-up.

Bob was in the gym when the boys came in and Bob welcomed them into the Last Chance Workout with the Blue Team which made it difficult since Sione and Filipe were against the Blue Team members. The Blue Team was as focused as they have ever been and when Jillian walked in she was glad to see the spoiled boys working with Bob and was glad not to have to worry about Sione and Filipe at this point.
The Face-Off Weigh-In
Alison again talked about the point structure and that the teams would be facing off against each other and that the first team to three points would win the weigh-in.
Tara was not pitted against anyone but lost 0 pounds, her worse week yet, sending a clear signal that the Black Team probably made a huge mistake by splurging at the luxury challenge.
Mike vs Cathy: Mike lost 8 pounds for a 2.80% loss and Cathy lost 4 pounds giving the Black their first point.
Aubrey vs Laura: Aubrey lost 3 pounds 1.48% and Laura gained 1 pound giving the Blue Team a point, tying it up at one point each.
Filipe vs Kristin: Kristin lost 7 pounds for a 2.59% loss and Filipe lost 1 pound for a .36% giving Blue Team two points.
Helen vs Ron: Helen lost 4 pounds for a 2.07% and Ron lost 6 pounds for a 1.75% loss, giving the Black Team a point tying it up once again at two points.
Mandi vs Sione: Sione lost 6 pounds for a 2.12% and Mandi gained 2 pounds in a huge shocker losing another challenge for the Blue Team. Mandi was shocked as were all of her team mates, knowing that someone would be going home and it would probably be her.

The elimination was brutal as the Blue Team was sure that they would catch the Black Team napping after their luxury and never expected to be in this position. The three Blue Team mates from day one, Ron, Kristin and Cathy, decided to send Mandi home with Aubrey wanting to fight to keep her in the game. Laura form the Black Team was to be at the elimination still having an extra vote from a previous challenge she had won and Aubrey was hoping to use that vote to keep her sister in the game.
Laura voted off Cathy to start off the voting and Ron began the Mandi carnage as anticipated. Kristin visibly upset voted Mandi as did Cathy and Aubrey then gave Cathy another vote. In an emotional ending, Mandi decided not to allow a tie for the Black to decide and threw her vote away by voting for Ron sending herself home over Aubrey.
Since leaving the ranch, Mandi has lost a total of 84 pounds and said that her new healthy lifestyle has helped her family become the family she had always dreamed of and was determined to be in a size two dress by the finale.
