British Reality TV Star Jade Goody Has Died

British reality TV star Jade Goody has died after losing her battle with cervical cancer. Jade Goody, 27, who shot to fame in 2002 after appearing on the U.K. version of Big Brother, passed away in her sleep at her home in Upshire, southeast England, in the early hours of Sunday with her mother and husband by her side.

The TV personality was diagnosed with cervical cancer while appearing on India’s reality show Big Boss last August, and underwent an emergency hysterectomy.

She bravely battled the illness by undergoing chemotherapy, subsequently showcasing her pain and hair loss on TV on the reality show Living with Jade Goody.

Jade Goody also had taken part in a string of public activities to raise money to provide for her two children, Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4, including a magazine deal for coverage of her wedding. The whole country has admired her determination to provide a bright future for her children.
