New MTV Reality Series College Life Premieres April 13, 2009

MTV has cooked up a new reality TV series. As the title suggests, it’sall about college life. The show doesn’t have any crews, directors, or scripts and promises to be a candid look at college from the viewpoint of eight freshman and sophomores. A candid portrayal…so, kind of like The Hills? Oh wait…

The producers of College Life gave the eight chosen students each cameras and instructions to film their everyday life on campus. The show is setwithin aMadison, Wisconsin college. MTV claims it will be a honest portrayal of their lives there including parties, relationships, friendships, and whatever else happens in college.

According to MTV, the eight students that will be featured in the show are: Alex. A 19 year old freshman from Montgomery, Texas. She’s a perfectionist, hoping to double major in journalism and international studies. Andrea. A 19 year old freshman born and raised in Wisconsin. A devout Christian, she hopes to major in journalism and/or broadcasting.

Anna. An 18 year old freshman from a small city on the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota. She is a pharmacy major. Lindsay. A 19 year old freshman from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She’s following in the footsteps of her family attending school here - in fact, her brother is a Junior there, with a 4.0 GPA. Kevin. An 18 year old freshman from St. Paul, Minnesota. Right now he’s having a good time in college, not sure where the future will take him.

Jordan. A 19 year old freshman from Wheaton, Illinois. He’s majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing. A 19 year old sophomore from Mukwonago, Wisconsin. He’s a mechanical engineering major living in a house with two friends from his hometown. Dan. He is an 18 year old freshman from Brattleboro, Vermont. He hopes to work in the business field someday, preferably in the music industry.
