Dancing With The Stars: Steve-O Speaks Out

Finally, this Tuesday the inevitable happened and Steve-O was voted off Dancing With The Stars. It was a good run, ridden with injury and tough criticism from the judges, but nonetheless Steve-O’s performances were good for a laugh. Although toward the end, he seemed a bit defeated and it appeared that he would be okay with going home. Find out what he had to say about getting the boot…

Following in the tradition of all the other ousted celebrities, Steve-O made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night. He says, “When I got eliminated they asked me how I felt and I said that in this competition I made a lot of mistakes and met a lot of challenges and the fans kept me around long enough to learn from all of that. I’m just grateful for the whole thing. It was cool.”

Apparently, his partner Lacey had joked about saying “aw crap” when she found out who she would be dancing with but she cleared up those rumors by saying, “No, honestly I was a huge fan of his back in the day and I was just more excited to meet him…. I’m 20-years-old [now], so when [Jackass] came out I was probably about 11. So I was pretty young and not really allowed to watch it — but I did. I was so thrilled to have him and it was a lot of fun.”

In conclusion, Steve-O said that he was just happy to make it as long as his 82 year old predecessor, Cloris Leachman. “I lasted as long as Cloris Leachman for crying out loud. That’s amazing.”
