Dancing With The Stars: Shawn Johnson’s Trophy Is Broken

It’s only been a couple weeks since Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas took home the mirrorball trophy on Dancing With The Stars. However, from what the dancing duo said at the MTV Movie Awards, they already had to send it back to ABC for repair. So if it’s bad luck when you break one mirror… how about a whole trophy full of mirrors? Keep reading to find out what happened…

As reported by E! News, Mark Ballas said, “It’s actually in pieces right now. We had to take them to New York and they shipped them back and when they opened the box, they were in pieces.”"They’re fixing them,” he added.

Shawn said, “I called [Mark] and I was like, ‘My trophy’s broke!’” The Olympian also commented on her future career plans.”I’ve been offered some opportunities to do movies or TV shows,” she said. “I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet.”

Amid the speculation that Mark Ballas and Derek Hough might not return for another season of dancing due to touring with the Ballas Hough Band, Mark said, “If they get a cast full of six-foot women then I can’t do it.”

So maybe we’ll be seeing his cute face again after all.
