The Bachelorette: Jason Mesnick And Trista Sutter Weigh In On Finale

It was an emotional night as Jillian Harrismade her final choice between Reid, Kiptyn, and Ed onMonday’s night show. Former Bachelorette Trista Sutter and Bachelor Jason Mesnickrecently spoke to EXTRA about their thoughts on Jillian’s choice and who they hope the nextBachelorwill be. Keep reading for more details…

When asked how they felt about Jillian’s choice, Trista said, “I really hope Jillian and Ed last.” Jason concurred andresponded by saying he wasn’t surprised by Jillian’s decision. “I think people want to pick who they think is best for Jillian,” he said. “She knowswhat’s best in her life. I thinkwhen she started off she was always looking for her best friend and in my perspective I think she found it.”

Jason continued by discussing the difficulty of the final decision. “That decision is excruciating. As everyone saw, I thought I knew what I was doing. Shortly after, I realized I was in love with two different girls and what do you do?” “In the end, it’s your life and you’re the only one who’s going to look after you. All the viewers that watch the show don’t know you that well,” he told EXTRA.

Trista said about the process, “I promise everyone out there that it can work. We’re not just staying together because we’re trying to prove people wrong I can tell you that.” As far as who she thinks will be the next bachelor, Trista said, “I really love Reid. I didn’t like him as much in the beginning but he totally grew on me, I love his humor. I’m kind of hoping it’s someone like Michael, who I can really root for, who’s going to be hysterical and who I know America will also be rooting for.”
