Jon Gosselin Empties Joint Bank Account!

In an interview with Meredith Viera on the Today show, Kate Gosselin talks about the latest twist in the Jon & Kate Plus 8 saga. Kate claims she was left with only $1,000 to pay bills after Jon cleared out over $200,000 of the couple’s liquid funds.  Of course, this news comes after Jon has halted production on her new reality show, Kate Plus 8, which was to continue a means of providing for their children.

Before the couple filed for divorce, Kate moved approximately $100,000 into her account in order to take care of her kids. However, Kate put the money back into the couple’s joint account at the advice of her arbitrator. “He took $230,000 of the $231,000 [in their shared banking account], and I have a stack of bills in my purse that I can’t drop in the mail,” said Kate.  “When you’ve left your children and their mother unable to pay for the roof over their head, it’s not acceptable.”
