Aaron Carter Insists There Is No Hanky Panky With Karina

Dancing With The Stars duo, Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff, have been getting slammed by the tabloids lately. After being spotted together several times, aside from dance rehearsals, rumors started flying that the two were in a secret relationship. Aaron spoke to Usmagazine.com after last night’s performance to set the record straight…again.
Rumors of a romance between Aaron and Karina have even been reported as one of the reasons Karina’s ex-fiance, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, doesn’t want to work toward reconciliation. “I feel completely betrayed. I’m done,” Maks told PEOPLE last week.
Earlier this month, Aaron tried to squash rumors by appearing on a local radio show, MY FM’s Valentine, to say that he wouldn’t want to be in the category of men who’ve dated Karina. Of course, after that was totally misconstrued by nearly everyone, he did damage control by saying that she is amazing and he didn’t mean that in a negative way.
After Monday night’s performance, Aaron told Us, “It is completely false. We are two people who like to be out and about and if it were true, you would have seen us out together already! And we would have been caught.” But wait, didn’t people see them out? And isn’t that why there are all these rumors flying around?
“There is nothing going on,” he added. Karina chimed in and said that they are being punished for a crime they didn’t commit.
Yea, yea. We’ve heard it all before. Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth anyone?
