Ryan Seacrest Takes Out Restraining Order Against Stalker

American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, has taken out a temporary restraining order against his stalker, Chidi Uzomah.  Chidi was arrested yesterday morning in the Comcast Entertainment Group lobby after saying that he had business to talk about with Ryan.  Last month, he was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery along with switchblade possession after attacking one of Ryan’s security guards. According to E! News, Chidi will stay in custody over the weekend and has now been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Ryan’s home, business, and vehicles.  During a hearing scheduled to take place on November 17, Attorney Blair Berk will request that the restraining order be made permanent.  He was already on three years’ probation from last month’s incident.

“I do not want and have never wanted to be contacted by Mr. Uzomah,” Ryan said. “I have no interest whatsoever in seeing him or communicating with him as he is a complete stranger to me. His aggressive and violent efforts to come into physical contact with me are extremely frightening to me. They have jeopardized not only my own personal safety, but also the safety and well-being of those around me.”
