The high octane performances last night on Dancing With The Stars set the ballroom floor on fire, but it won’t be enough to save two couples from being eliminated this evening. The show started off with Team Tango performing their hot dance from last night. Will these three stars be saved or was their performance last night, not enough to win over the viewers?

Hosts Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris announced the first couple avoiding elimination tonight as Kelly and Louis and the first couple in the bottom three as Mark and Lacey.

Next, Multi platinum recording artist Colbie Caillat performed her hit single Fallin’ for You from her sophomore album, Breakthrough, which was released earlier this year. The Malibu-based singer/songwriter’s smoky vocal stylings and infectious melodies captured a global following with the hit song Bubbly from her double platinum trailblazing debut album Coco. She was accompanied by Dancing With The Stars professional dancers Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska.
Tom Bergeron then let one more couple, Donny and Kym off the hook and prepared another couple perhaps for the dance off, Michael and Anna. Two couples were now safe with three couples left to find out if they will be eliminated or have to dance for their lives tonight on Dancing With The Stars.

Performing for the first time on the Dancing With The Stars stage as the Ballas Hough Band, Dancing With The Stars own professional dancers Mark Ballas and Derek Hough unveiled their new song, Move, from their upcoming album. Immediately after the broadcast, the song will be available for download on iTunes. Described as a sexy, hard-driving club track, Move reveals the evolving musical direction of Ballas Hough. Though steeped in rock and pop music all their lives, the two have taken their sound and infused it with a more rhythmic club groove, as the new song shows. Singing about a chance romantic encounter out on the dance floor, Mark and Derek trade vocals over the song’s hypnotic melody and insistent beat. Ballas Hough, made its Hollywood Records album debut earlier this year with BHB.
After the performance, the next couples safe were announced and they were; Mya and Dmitry and Joanna and Derek, which meant that Aaron and Karina were in the bottom three tonight.

Rod Stewart took to the Dancing With The Stars stage for a special performance of It’s the Same Old Song from his just released album, Soulbook, a collection of classic Sixties/Seventies-era soul favorites, all newly recorded by the quintessential blue eyed soul singer of our generation. Soulbook is a long-awaited celebration of the music that is closest to this Grammy-Award winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s heart.

For the second time this season, the couple with the lowest combined scores was eliminated while the second and third couple with lowest combined scores had to face the judges one last time in a Dance-Off to save their spot in the competition. The couple eliminated first was Michael and Anna, while Mark and Lacey and Aaron and Karina performed their short dance routine that they had secretly prepared for the Dance-Off. The judges’ scores for the Dance-Off routine determined that the fate of Mark and Lacey was sealed and they were going home this evening.
Dancing With The Stars returns again next Monday night at 8 PM ET as the dancers try for a place in the semi-finals with two new dances each.
