Dancing With The Stars: Cheryl Burke Headed For Broadway?

Well we all know that Cheryl Burke can dance, but did you know what else she can do? Apparently, she can sing. Cheryl has been negotiating a part for the lead role of Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway, which she would play during the Dancing With The Stars hiatus this winter. Keep reading for more details…

According to Usmagazine.com, Cheryl sent off an audition tape to Los Angeles last week. “People don’t see her as a singer,” a source told Us “but she trained for her audition with one of the top vocal coaches in L.A.” If Cheryl scores the part she won’t be the first cast member from Dancing With The Stars to join the play. Last summer, host Samatha Harris also stepped in to play the part of Roxie.

The source also told Us that Cheryl “is excited about the prospect of spending the holidays in New York. That’s where her boyfriend [model Maxwell Zagorski] is based.”

Dancing With The Stars returns again next Monday night at 8 PM ET as the dancers try for a place in the semi-finals with two new dances each.
