Tyra Banks: “I Don’t Believe In Diets”

Two years ago, Tyra Banks was torn apart in the media when a picture surfaced of a slightly more chubby version of herself in a swimsuit. Tyra proceeded to fight back by walking out on her show wearing the same swimsuit and telling the tabloids to kiss her fat ass. Well, her ass isn’t so fat anymore…

Tyra came out on her show yesterday and revealed her secret to losing almost 30 pounds. “I do not believe in diets. I have been on diets in the past, and they are a bunch of bologna,” she said. “This is a lifestyle change. It’s not about being skinny. It’s about getting in the best shape that you can be.” Tyra, who has always been a fan of her curves, continued, “It’s about working with what you’ve got, and knowing, and learning what’s right for your body.”

She said that she has been meeting with nutritionist Heather Bauer, who has helped realize her eating habits and keep a daily food journal. “I switched up my unhealthy eating habits for healthier eating habits, and I haven’t had a tummy attack since December ‘08,” she revealed.

But Tyra isn’t a machine. She admits that she still pigs out on some ribs and ice cream every now and then -as opposed to every day.

Then, she took the opportunity to slam those tabloids again. “Now I really can say … kiss my fit — and still fat — ass,” she said.
