Julianne Hough Talks About Split From Chuck Wicks

Last week we learned that Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks had finally called it quits, but we weren’t sure why.  Well, it just so happens that Us Magazine got a hold of the Dancing With The Stars hottie to grill her all about it.  Check out what she had to say…

“It’s a good thing for us right now,” Julianne told Us at the Nashville premiere of The Blind Side. “We are both extremely busy and working on our careers and really focused on that.”

So is she torn up about the split? “Not at all,” she replied.  Wow, um, sorry Chuck.  She continued to say that it wasn’t awkward when they encountered each other at the CMA awards. “We are such good friends,” she said of her ex. “Of course, we weren’t together. We will always continue being good friends.”

When asked if the breakup will inspire a few songs for the singers, she said, “Absolutely. We’ll probably write ‘em together.” Okay. Now this is a bit creepy. Julianne also mentioned that she still isn’t sure if she’ll return to Dancing With The Stars this spring, considering she’ll be filming Footloose, opposite Chace Crawford.
