American Idol: Jason Castro Is Married!

It’s going to be an exciting year for Jason Castro!  His first full-length album will be released by Atlantic Records this spring and among other things, he just became a newlywed. Yesterday, Jason got hitched to his girlfriend, Mandy Mayhall, in his hometown outside of Dallas, Texas. Keep reading for more details…

Jason proposed to Mandy last Halloween, while the two were dressed up like Beauty and the Beast. They confirmed their engagement in November. According to his Twitter account, Jason had a fun-filled bachelor party the night before, where he and his buddies spent some quality time playing poker and pool.

So what’s next? Jason’s newest single, Let’s Just Fall In Love Again, will be released on the 5-song Love Uncompromised EP and will hit stores January 12th. Then on January 20th, he will hit the road for a national tour with Matt Hires to promote his upcoming album. 

American Idol will return January 12 on FOX!
