The Bachelor: Bob Guiney Splits From Wife

Hopefully the fourth time will be a charm for former Bachelor Bob Guiney. His first attempt at love on The Bachelorette was unsuccessful when Trista Rehn chose Ryan Sutter as her final choice. Then, he set out on his own quest to find love on The Bachelor season 4, which also ended in heartache. And now, it has been announced that Bob Guiney is splitting from his wife of five years, Rebecca Budig.

When Bob met Rebecca she was working on All My Children, which filmed in New York City. She eventually quit that role in order to move to L.A., allowing more time with her husband. However, according to sources that wasn’t enough to save the couple’s marriage.

“Lately it’s become clear that nothing is going to save this,” one of Bob’s friends commented. “They’ve just grown apart and are no longer the people they were when they got married.” “They talk on the phone every day and they truly are best friends. They don’t know what is going to happen. They haven’t filed for divorce. They’re not even fighting,” added another source.

    Always hate to see marriages end…but she’s way out of his league…IMHO.
