After one of her own allies turned on the Galu alliance, Laura Morett was the latest contestant booted from Survivor: Samoa. Her ouster was a major blindside after a tie vote made the situation seem deadlocked. John put a stop to that and switched his ballot for Laura during the re-vote, which was the snuffing point to her torch. In a conference call with reporters, Laura revealed lots about her experience. She touched on her elimination, evil Russell, her secret alliance and how she was actually supposed to be on another reality show. Plus, Laura made a remark about some history she has with a fellow Galu member — then CBS stepped in and hushed that entire discussion. This is a good one…

Survivor: Samoa is one of the greatest seasons the hit reality show has seen in years. Tonight’s episode solidified how good this season is when yet another amazing Tribal Council brought a huge blindside and dropping jaws. But before we get to that point, Laura was heated about the events from the last Tribal Council when Russell used his second hidden Immunity Idol, which resulted in Kelly’s ouster. But Shambo loved it. She was ready to take Laura out.

Blindsided. One of the best in Survivor history. Although it was great for fans of the show, Kelly Sharbaugh was on the bad end of the hidden Immunity Idol and was the latest contestant sent packing from Survivor: Samoa. In a conference call with reporters, Kelly, who is also the second member of the jury, weighed in on several topics. She chatted all about her elimination, impressions of Russell and admitted that she never looked for the hidden Idol even after receiving a clue for it. Yep, you read that right. I was so shocked by that statement that I offer up a rant at the end of the interview. Check it out!

A new battle has been brewing on the shores of Samoa — it’s between an evil strategist and a manipulative Medusa. Russell and Laura are squaring off in a battle of big minds on Survivor: Samoa. After the blindside ousted Erik from the game, the newly merged Aiga returned to camp with Russell worried about his safety in the game. After playing his hidden Immunity Idol at Tribal Council, Laura was ready to send Russell packing. To top it all off, tonight’s episode delivered one of the most satisfying Tribal Councils I have ever seen — so good that Jeff Probst even looked surprised. It was well beyond satisfying.
