VH1 Turns Celebrities into Magicians…

Alacazam! VH1 has dived into the celebrity pool and surfaced with a bucket of stars willing to participate in its latest celebreality venture.

In VH1’s Celebracadabra, seven stars will compete against one another to perform magic tricks in hopes of being crowned Best Celebrity Magician. From the network that brought us Celebrity Fit Club, Celebracadabra, hosted by Jonathan Levit, will bring the celebs into The Magic Castle and pair them with pros of the magic world. Each week someone will have their magic wand snapped in half and they (and their pro partner) will be eliminated from the competition. The winning celebrity will win a $100,000 grand prize from Ellusionist.com.

The celebrities lined up to compete are: actor/rapper Chris “Kid” Reid, comedian ANT, singer Carnie Wilson, actress/comedienne Lisa Ann Walter, actor C. Thomas Howell, actor/comedian Hal Sparks (trivia stop: is his real name Harry Magee Sparks III?!), and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt. The magic pros pairing with the celebs are Derek Hughes, Silly Billy, Rocco, Murray, David Regal, Asi Wind, and Simon Lovell.

Celebracadabra premieres Sunday, April 27th at 9:00 PM (ET) on VH1.
