Kelly Clarkson, season 1 winner of American Idol, is under fire for a series of Indonesian billboards featuring her image and the logo of tobacco company, LA Lights. The singer’s upcoming Jakarta concert was originally supposed to be sponsored by the cigarettes, but when billboards with Clarkson’s image and the LA Lights’ logo popped up around Indonesia, the star was criticized by fans and anti-smoking advocacy groups. Disney’s Hollywood Studios looked like an American Idol reunion party last night when all seven winners of American Idol gathered together for the grand opening and VIP party for The American Idol Experience attraction at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. More than two dozen American Idol stars in all, including both winners and finalists from the first seven seasons, plus judge Paula Abdul and the host of the show, Ryan Seacrest arrived by celebrity motorcade to the sound of cheers, applause and snapping cameras of Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests.

For the second time inits 50 year history, the first American Idol, Kelly Clarkson has made the highest leap on the Billboard Hot 100. Her newest single, My Life Would Suck Without You, rose from the 97th spot, knocking out Lady GaGa’s Grammy-nominated Just Dance featuring Colby O’Donis. Just Dance slipped to No. 2 after three weeks in the No. 1 spot. Kelly Clarkson’s new recordbroke the 96th-to-first record recently set by Britney Spears’ Womanizer.
