What started with 13 people has dwindled down to three. After weeks of competing in a game of paranoia, 10 people have been killed off in a variety of ways. After many viewers avoided this spooky CW show like the plauge due to its lackluster challenges and characters, one of the final three finally won the top prize of $66,666 on 13: Fear Is Real. And tonight’s final challenge finally paid off with scary excitement.
The final five contestants on the CW‘s 13: Fear Is Real remained at the nasty, hot slaughterhouse — and it was really getting to Ted. The constant darkness, heat and boredom was making him feel like he was losing his mind. “You start legitimately going nuts,” he said. And it was a busy episode tonight because two more were killed off as the competition winds down.
Although he was able to eliminate one player as the killer on 13: Fear Is Real, Rodney couldn’t escape “death” in the Execution Ceremony when Leah defeated him. With only seven players remaining on the CW‘s spooky show, a new killer is born when the Death Box comes back into play — and this new killer doesn’t wait long before taking their first victim.
The final eight contestants on the CW‘s 13: Fear Is Real were back at it — they were all accusing each other of being the killer. But tonight was different because the guessing game ended for viewers since the killer was revealed!
Oh the horror! Flipping around my DVR, I noticed a total shock — a new episode of 13: Fear Is Real had recorded on Friday. So I checked it out and sure enough, it was a brand-new episode of the CW‘s scary reality show. Without any announcement, the geniuses (for lack of a better sarcastic term) behind this monotonous wannabe thriller changed its air date from Wednesdays to Fridays. Which means many fans likely missed the new episode because it already aired! Although this show is out to scare its contestants, it seems the producers were the ones most frightened. But not by snakes, monsters or maniacs — but by American Idol‘s gigantic Wednesday audience, which likely spawned the schedule change. No matter what day it airs though, the scares still aren’t there.
After Laura became the second person eliminated from the CW‘s scary reality show 13: Fear Is Real, the group was still paranoid about a killer being on the loose. Since one of them had achieved killer status by taking the Death Box, nobody had been killed off, but they all had speculations about the suspect’s identity. And in tonight’s episode, the killer finally took first blood!
Back in the Louisiana Bayou, the 12 remaining players on 13: Fear Is Real were paranoid that the Death Box had been taken. Laura, Nasser and Rodney discovered that the box was missing, which meant a killer was on the loose within their group. And that’s when the accusations started flying again. It could be Leah. It could be Rodney. It could be Laura. Nasser was really on the hunt to find out who the killer’s identity — and he had his mind set on one particular person.
In a scary twist to the reality genre, the CW has attacked the airwaves with 13: Fear Is Real. This game takes 13 brave contestants (or victims — whichever you prefer) and sets them in scary situations where they face all sorts of frightening twists and turns. After competing in a series of challenges somebody will be “killed off.” And tonight, two were buried alive to kick off a great show that any horror or reality fan can appreciate.
On Wednesday, January 7 at 8 PM ET on The CW, 13 lucky or should we say, unlucky people are going to be participating in a real live horror story. There is a catch though…they do not know or understand what they have signed up for! This is the premise behind the new horror/reality TV series, 13 Fear is Real.
