The competition gets hairy on Bravo’s "Shear Genius," when two
world-famous hair masters, known for styling the locks of rock and
celebrity royalty, critique the remaining stylists, Wednesday, May 9 at
10PM ET/PT. Ken Paves and Christophe, the magical fingers behind some
of Hollywood’s hottest stars like Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria,
guest judge on Bravo’s "Shear Genius."
The remaining eight stylists can only hope that Vanessa Williams does
not channel "Wilhelmina" ("Ugly Betty") when she judges their
potentially red-carpet worthy hairstyles on Bravo’s "Shear Genius." In
episode four, airing Wednesday, May 2 at 10PM (ET/PT), the flat irons
aren’t the only things heating up in the salon, as tension builds when
Tabatha confronts Evangelin after she continues to use gardening shears
from last week’s unconventional tools challenge in the salon.
It’s a shagging good time on the third episode of Bravo’s "Shear
Genius," premiering Wednesday, April 25 at 10PM (ET/PT). Things really
heat up when the stylists are given one hour to recreate the iconic
shag cut perfected by lead judge Sally Hershberger on Meg Ryan, and
ultimately go on to face critique from Hershberger’s expert eye.

to hairstyling with the series premiere of the new one-hour
eight-episode competition reality series "Shear Genius" on Wednesday,
April 11 at 11 PM ET/PT, following the "Top Design" finale, and moves
to its regular 10 PM timeslot on Wednesday, April 18. Hosted by
award-winning actress, designer and entrepreneur Jaclyn Smith, Bravo’s
newest reality competition series "Shear Genius" offers a
behind-the-scenes look at the competitive and creative world of
high-end hairstyling. Famed celebrity hairstylist and designer Sally
Hershberger serves as lead judge on the series. Michael Carl, fashion
director of Allure also judges and Rene Fris, accomplished stylist,
serves as the salon manager to the stylists. The crop of guest judges
includes styling industry greats Frederick Fekkai, Ken Paves and Jose

Award-winning actress, designer and entrepreneur Jaclyn Smith has been named host of Bravo’s newest reality competition series "Shear Genius," previously announced under the working title "Top Hair." Famed celebrity hairstylist Sally Hershberger will join the former "Charlie’s Angel" as a lead judge on the series, which puts the spotlight on the client-driven, high-end competitive world of hairstyling. Production will commence in Los Angeles in early 2007 on eight episodes of "Shear Genius," which is scheduled to premiere in spring 2007.
