This week on The Amazing Race, the final three teams duked it out in a race for the ultimate prize. Fans seemed a bit stunned however, when it was actually The Beekman Boys, Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge, who ended up winning. After their big win, Josh and Brent responded to the fan criticism, and dished on what they will be doing next.
The Amazing Race finale has arrived and the final four teams are both nervous and excited for the last leg of the race. The lucky finalists? The Beekmans (Josh and Brent), the twinnies (Natalie and Nadiya), Trexi (Trey and Lexi) and the Chippendales (Jaymes and James). It’s hard to say which team will be crowned champions, as all four have proven themselves both talented and spectacularly incompetent at various times.
Who are you hoping to win The Amazing Race? Personally, I’m gunning for either Team Beekman (Josh and Brent) or Team Chippendale (Jaymes and James). I tend to root for underdogs and, although I make fun of them a lot, the Chips’ friendly approach and chiseled abs have won me over. The twins (Natalie and Nadiya) and Trexi (Trey and Lexi) still have yet to redeem themselves after stealing $100 from Abba and James. We won’t find out the winner tonight, but there just might be another elimination!
We’re down to a mere five teams on The Amazing Race, and with the possible exception of Josh and Brent, they’ve all proven themselves to be hardcore competitors. This week, the race moves to Amsterdam! There might be a few more English speakers on the racers’ paths as they travel across Europe, but that doesn’t mean the challenges are about to let up!
Amazing Race contestant, Jaymes Vaughan hopes to win the race and take home the $1 million dollar prize. But Vaughan doesn’t want to win for himself; he wants to win so he can help his father who is battling incurable cancer.
Nobody likes a cliffhanger, but that’s exactly what took place on last week’s episode of The Amazing Race. Following a plane mishap and a lost passport, we were left wondering which team would make the cut. But gosh, if Amazing Race is going to force us to endure a cliffhanger, they should take it literally like every other surprise on the show — they should force the contestants to rappel down a cliff. Or something to that effect.
This week on The Amazing Race, the remaining (and increasingly bad-tempered) contestants wrap up their journey through Turkey [insert obligatory Thanksgiving turkey pun here] and head for Russia. And the audience once again gets treated to an incredibly awkward (and occasionally attractive) display of our Amazing Race friends’ bodies as they attempt synchronized swimming.
Tempers are wearing thin among the remaining contestants on The Amazing Race, and once friendly participants such as Ryan, Nadiya and Natalie are now going for blood. Drama on The Amazing Race? You bet!
Things are getting down to the wire on The Amazing Race! As the slowpokes and slow-witted are weeded out (with the possible exception of the not-so-bright Chippendales James and Jaymes), the race gets more and more competitive. Will the remaining contestants crack under pressure?
So far on this season of The Amazing Race, we’ve watched contestants tackle ping pong prodigies, balloon animals, fish guts and much more. Now, the most diverse group of contestants yet heads to Bangladesh to repair buses and collect rats. Sounds like fun!
