It’s a big night on FOX as the American Idol 9 finale will see either Crystal Bowersox or Lee Dewyze crowned as the newest idol, and also, it is judge Simon Cowell’s last show. Ryan Seacrest opens by introducing Randy Jackson, Ellen Degeneres, Kara DioGuardi, and Simon. The camera pans to show a good number of former Idol contestants in the audience. Crystal and Lee come out, and their hometown fans are shown. First up tonight, the Top Ten perform together again!
