The nationwide search for America’s next big invention continues with
open casting calls in Chicago and New York. Viewers will witness
inventors pitching their ideas and products to the panel of expert
judges to see if their dreams will be realized. Highlights include a
spry, 78-year-old inventor and his heart pumping invention, a salon
owner’s solution to motorcycle safety, a grandfather from Boonton, New
Jersey with a medical miracle, a man who poured his entire family’s
life savings into a toy for all ages, and a superhero — whose Bronx
creator has spent the last 22 years on his idea. The panel will weigh
their decisions in choosing one finalist from each city to continue to
the next level, on "American Inventor," WEDNESDAY, JUNE 20 (9:00-10:00
p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

American Inventor Conducting Casting Calls For Season Two
Producers of "American Inventor" are coming to a major city near you as
they get ready to kick off the second season of the popular ABC
program. A nationwide search to discover the ultimate in homespun
ingenuity will make one struggling inventor’s dream come true with a
grand prize of one million dollars. Last year’s champion, Janusz
Liberkowski, a Polish immigrant inventor from Los Gatos, California, is
currently working with a major car seat manufacturer to try to bring
his infant car seat invention — the Anecia Survival Capsule — to
market. "American Inventor" will have its season premiere WEDNESDAY,

American Inventor Contestant Finding Success Selling Sackmaster To Military
Mark Martinez first invented the one-man, one-scoop, one-bag sandbagging device known as the SackMaster in 1976, “when I was in seventh grade and living in a low lying area that was prone to flooding.” At that time, he created it out of household objects, but on February 6th, 1995 he drew up the plans that would eventually land him on reality TV.
