America’s Funniest Home Videos 18th Season Finale Airs On ABC

America’s Funniest Home Videos concludes its 18th season with a special two hour finale. Host Tom Bergeron will appear on location in both Paris and at Disneyland in Southern California. In the finale, the three $100,000 video prize winners will compete for the Grand Prize.
The Grand Prize is their choice of 10 select trips to some of the most desired locations around the world as part of an Adventures by Disney vacation. Two lucky sweepstakes entrants will also win an Adventures by Disney trip.
America’s Funniest Home Videos season finale airs on Friday, May 16 from 8 PM to 10 PM ET on ABC.

America’s Funniest Home Videos To Air 400th Episode

One of the oldest and longest running shows in the reality TV format is reaching a milestone. America’s Funniest Home Videos has reached its 400th episode and is the longest running primetime show in ABC history.
The 400th episode will feature videos involving wedding mishaps, college kids having fun on a water slide, and a little girl making a big mess with chocolate power. There are only a handful of shows in primetime TV history to have reached the milestone of airing a 400th episode. Other shows include The Simpsons, Gunsmoke, Lassie, Death Valley Days, Ozzie and Harriet and Bonanza.
America’s Funniest Home Videos originally premiered on January 14, 1990. The show has aired for eighteen seasons and given away over ten million in prize money. America’s Funniest Home Videos 400th episode airs on Sunday, May 4 from 7 PM to 8 PM ET on ABC.

ABC Keeps on A-Dancin’…and A-Swappin’…and A-Movin’ That Bus

Better keep that bus warmed up, Ty — ABC isn’t letting go of its hit reality shows any time soon.
ABC recently announced renewals of five unscripted shows, including the popular and dramatic Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
Also on the list is Wife Swap, Supernanny, The Bachelor, and The Bachelorette. And, of course, reality TV wouldn’t be the same without ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, also renewed.
Likewise, viewers can expect to keep laughing over those hilarious home videos, as ABC has renewed a 19th — yes, I said 19th!!! — season of America’s Funniest Home Videos.
Not on the list of renewed shows is Dancing with the Stars spin-off, Dance War (C’mon, I really liked that show!).

America’s Funniest Home Videos Top Ten Practical Jokes Countdown

On a special episode of America’s Funniest Home Videos, the best practical jokes in the eighteen year history of the show will be featured. Some of the clips featured include a man scared by Dracula jumping out of a coffin, a man who dresses as the Grim Reaper to scare his mom, a dad who fools his son into thinking he’s slept through the night and that it’s time for school, and a guy who teases his terrified buddy with a large iguana.
The episode will include practical jokes that backfire and fake lotto pranks. The video that has been labeled asthe greatest gag ever will also be featured. America’s Funniest Home Videos is hosted by Tom Bergeron, and the show has given away over $9 million in prize money over the years.
America’s Funniest Home Videos airs on Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 7 PM to 8 PM ET on ABC.
