forces with host John Walsh to help find the killers of two young
The father of British 4-year-old Madeleine McCann, who disappeared in May while her family was on vacation in Portugal, has come to the U.S. to meet with American officials and child safety experts, as he seeks help in the search for his daughter. On Monday, July 23, Gerry McCann toured the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and then met with Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. And, as part of his quest to spread the word about his missing child, McCann also met with producers from FOX’s America’s Most Wanted.
This Saturday night’s broadcast of America’s Most Wanted (Saturday,
June 2, 9 p.m. ET/PT, 8 p.m. CT) on FOX will include a special
announcement: the name of the latest fugitive to be added to the FBI’s
“Ten Most Wanted List.”
For the third year in a row, the All-Star Challenge sponsored by the
television show “America’s Most Wanted” and Sprint (NYSE: S) continues
to honor extraordinary first responders – law-enforcement officers,
firefighters, EMTs and others – who are first to assist and go beyond
the call of duty. This year’s winner, Officer Carl Andolina with the
Buffalo (N.Y.) Police Department, will receive the grand prize of
$10,000 and an all-star weekend at the 2007 NASCAR NEXTEL All-Star
Challenge on May 19 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C.

For weeks, America’s Most Wanted, television’s top crime-fighting show,
has been asking citizens to help give special recognition to the
police, firefighters, EMTs and other first responders who protect us,
by nominating them to become the 2007 AMW All-Star. Hundreds of
nominations poured in, and online voting at AMW.com narrowed the field
to eight finalists. Now, the public will choose one of these eight
heroes to be the Grand Prize winner of the AMW All-Star Contest,
sponsored by Sprint Nextel. Voting
runs through Tuesday, May 8th.
Detectives rely on evidence like fingerprints and DNA to take down
accused killers. But on Saturday, March 31 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) in
this week’s episode of FOX’s groundbreaking crime-fighting show
AMERICA’S MOST WANTED, viewers will learn about a cold-blooded murder
that was solved by an expert in tracking , the scent of a killer.
John Walsh, the host of FOX’s America’s Most Wanted and a crusading
advocate for America’s children, is warning that a new law designed to
protect our children from sexual predators isn’t working the way it was
intended to. And he should know – he was instrumental in persuading
Congress to pass the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act, named
in honor of his son, who was abducted and murdered in 1981.
America’s Most Wanted, television’s top crime-fighting show, is once
again asking the public to help give special recognition to the police,
firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders who dedicate themselves
to protecting us.
A major motion picture about the notorious Zodiac Killer, who
terrorized the San Francisco Bay area starting in the late 1960s and
has never been caught, will hit theaters in a few days. AMERICA’S MOST
WANTED, the nation’s top crime-fighting show, has long been involved in
the hunt for The Zodiac. In a special episode airing Saturday, Feb. 24
(9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, AMW host John Walsh will examine the true
story of The Zodiac murders, and lay out the clues that could finally
lead to the elusive serial killer’s capture.
