Well here we are in our 4th episode of America’s Next Top Model. We open to a review of the reactions to last week, mainly focusing on Victoria’s dramatics. Kiara decides to take on the mom role in the house, and makes chili for all the ladies, saying that even though she may be a model, but she’s got 7 mouths to feed at home, so everybody needs to eat her cooking! This girl isn’t starving herself! Victoria is so upset over last week’s results, and misses her mom so much, that she refuses most of the food offered to her, which doesn’t sit well with anyone.
America’s Next Top Model is attempting to move past the stereotypical college girl thing this week and is instead having the models show their quirky side in steampunk photos. Hilarity ensues when two of the models freak out at the sight of a (gasp) owl!
We love Grammy winner Alicia Keys, so we’re pretty pumped that the singer will be making an appearance on tonight’s episode of America’s Next Top Model. What else is in store for the college students and model wannabes? How about some cheerleading photos and more sucking up to Tyra?
The college edition of America’s Next Top Model has not been particularly great thus far, but we’e hoping things will change for the better during tonight’s episode. This week, the contestants get to work on acting! Obviously, this will go better for some than others..
It’s hard to believe it, but it’s already been eleven years since the World Trade Center was hit on September 11th, 2001. Although their Twitter pages are usually full of shallow musings, celebs such as Dancing with the Stars’ Billy Ray Cyrus and Kelly Osbourne have taken a second to remember those who gave their lives during this awful tragedy.
Time to get excited, because it’s makeover week on America’s Next Top Model! Keeping with this season’s trend of changing anything and everything, Tyra is now giving each contestant the option to refuse a makeover. How will this life-or-death decision play into tonight’s results?
America’s Next Top Model’s strangest season continues. We’ll get to learn more about the contestants and all the new judges. And there will surely be plenty of drama! But based on the underwhelming ANTM episode that aired last week, we’re a bit worried that this show will continue to go downhill.
We’re used to seeing odd pictures of the young women competing on America’s Next Top Model. In years past, photographer Jay Manuel used shocking concepts in order to draw attention to such issues as eating disorders and domestic violence. This time, though, the latest photo shoot is just bizarre…without making any recognizable point on the ills of today’s society. Is this another sign of ANTM’s coming demise?
Many longtime fans of America’s Next Top Model were exceedingly disappointed to see their favorite judges and photographer replaced for a new cast that is rather…well, meh. Another change that bothers some viewers: the addition of voting. Tyra thinks ANTM could do with a little housecleaning though, which is why she was all too happy to defend all the sudden changes.
When you think of college students, you might picture young adults studying hard and partying harder. But the college life is a bit different for the hopefuls joining this season of America’s Next Top Model. After 19 cycles of ANTM (has the show been on that long already?!) it’s time to switch things up a bit!
