Yesterday, we heard from Basketball Wives‘ executive producer, Shaunie O’Neal, who stated that she would like to get rid of three of the stars on the show, without revealing any names. Today, we have learned which three ladies are getting the ax! Is it one that you hoped would get cut? You’ll have to read on for the details!
Just weeks away from their wedding day, Evelyn Lozada of VH1′s Basketball Wives and her NFL beau, Chad Ochocinco have gotten some great news – they can stay in Miami! Chad Ochocinco, who was recently released from The New England Patriots has signed on with none other than The Miami Dolphins, which is perfect for the couple! More after the jump.
It’s official. Basketball Wives will be returning for a fifth season on VH1. And while we’re sure that there’s still going to be plenty of drama, regardless of how much they plan on toning things down, details on who will be involved in that drama are still unclear. In a recent interview, Executive Producer Shaunie O’Neal revealed that contract renewals won’t take place until August or September, and though she has “no problem walking away from the franchise,” there are definitely three cast members who shouldn’t expect to be asked back.
It was the slap heard ’round the reality TV world. But now that this season of VH1‘s Basketball Wives is over (and she’s being sued), what does Evelyn Lozada‘s assistant, Nia Crooks have to say about her actions and all the backlash she’s been getting for smacking Jennifer Williams?
Some of her co-stars weren’t very happy to hear Executive Producer Shaunie O’Neal referring to them as a “ghetto hot mess” when speaking with her pastor in the season finale of VH1‘s Basketball Wives; namely, Royce Reed. But now, O’Neal is explaining what she really meant, defending her words…and that whole fish prank in Tahiti.
It’s been a hellish first season for Basketball Wives newcomer Kesha Nichols…to say the least. After getting into it with fellow newbie Kenya Bell, and being bullied by Tami Roman in Tahiti, we’re surprised she even bothered doing the Reunion Show, because clearly, she’s not about this life (for the record, she was contractually obligated to show up). But with promises of a “more balanced” season should the show return to VH1, will Kesha be on board?
Royce Reed is on a roll! After calling out her Basketball Wives co-stars for their childish behavior and slamming boss Shaunie O’Neal, the dancer is now taking aim at Ms. Tami Roman for saying that Reed wasn’t a friend to her in the season finale. (Okay, so maybe her words were, “F–k Royce!”) But was Royce actually looking out for Tami more than anyone else? She thinks so!
In the season finale of VH1‘s Basketball Wives, Executive Producer and cast member Shaunie O’Neal expressed her concern about being associated with the ladies on the show, leaving fans to wonder if she’ll be returning for season 5, and making at least one of her cast mates UPSET. So who is it that wants Shaunie to stop acting like she’s “a saint,” and “own up” to her part in all the drama?
By now you must have heard all the controversy on Basketball Wives surrounding Tami Roman and the accusations of her being a bully. Not only are fans weighing in, but so are the other Basketball Wives on the show, including Royce Reed who has asked, “How old are we?” Fans have gone as far as to start a petition to get Tami Roman kicked off the show! What is your opinion? Do you think it is a simple case of a misunderstanding or was Tami Roman really being mean and making African American women everywhere look bad? The Buzz weighs in below with this special video. Watch it and then let us know what you think.
