The Amazing Race 23 came to an exciting conclusion last night, with lovebirds Jason and Amy capturing a hard-fought victory. Now that season 23 is over, it’s time to start speculating about the next edition of the entertaining reality show. In a new promo, CBS confirmrf: Amazing Race 24 will feature yet another all-star cast!
It’s been yet another crazy season on The Amazing Race, with highlights including contestants made up as Javanese brides and a very fancy camel show. Like the rest of season 23, yesterday’s two-hour finale featured plenty of twists and turns (but fortunately, no U-turns). Which team came away with the million dollar prize?
Calm. Cool. Relaxed. Those words easily sum up Caleb Bankston’s time on Survivor: Blood Vs. Water. His easy-to-like personality has many wondering how on earth he has any connection with two-time castaway Colton Cumbie — who is infamous for his abrasive, negative attitude. Even after Colton quit, Caleb stands by his man. When I talked with Caleb today, he explained his feelings toward Jeff Probst for accusing Colton of quitting twice, revealed his thoughts on Ciera opting to swap sides and dished details on what it was like sitting at Tribal Council in person watching them draw for rocks. That’s not all, Caleb expressed his utmost love for Colton and revealed when they will be getting married.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, Vytas Baskauskas was roasted faster than a turkey on Survivor: Blood Vs. Water thanks to Laura Morett’s wily strategy. After completing the Redemption Island duel first, she guided Tina Wesson with the information needed to knock Vytas out of the game. It worked. Back to back, both Baskauskas boys burned their buffs and joined the jury. I spoke with Vytas today where he talked about his feelings toward Laura M. today, revealed how much he’s obviously been thinking about the cube-stacking puzzle, gushed praise for Tyson Apostol’s gameplay, explained his desire to play again and dished the details on where the GIANT HOLE in the back of his shirt came from.
Before even setting foot in the Philippines, Aras Baskauskas already had a four-way alliance on Survivor: Blood Vs. Water. But that all crumbled when Gervase Peterson, his primary pal, opted to oust him. In my one-on-one interview with Aras, the season 12 winner dished the dirt on how he formed a pre-game alliance with Gervase, explained how Survivor changed the relationship with his brother and revealed who his primary ally would be if CBS had an all-winner season.
The heartbreaking story of Todd Herzog’s alcohol abuse has been a hot topic among the reality TV community recently – and now, we got a deeper look at his personal struggles. Dr. Phil dedicated an entire hour to Todd’s alcoholism on Monday saying he had never seen a guest on his show more close to death. Todd was 22 years old when he won Survivor: China six years ago (read my interview with him immediately after he won). At that point in his life, Todd says he never had a drink. Since then, Todd has been admitted to the hospital multiple times – once with a blood-alcohol content of .582. It was a mark so high that doctors had told Todd’s family they had never seen anybody reach that level without being in a comatose state. An intervention was needed and Dr. Phil made sure that happened. Read how it all went down inside this article…
Quite a few controversial figures have appeared on Bethenny Frankel’s talk show these past few weeks, ostensibly in hopes of increasing the program’s stubbornly mediocre ratings. The latest train wreck to join the party? Big Brother alum and former baby bride Courtney Stodden.
Jeff Probst has spent plenty of time in the Philippines these past few years, what with the filming of four seasons of Survivor. Given the great fondness he feels for the friendly people he’s met while abroad, it only stands to reason that the reality television host is deeply saddened by news of Typhoon Haiyan.
Jeff Probst sans clothes equals complete hotness! Who knew the handsome host of Survivor was also such a a hot hunk of man? While we are used to seeing half naked contestants on Survivor, we’ve never seen Jeff Probst this way, but Probst stripped down to nothing for an appearance on Two And A Half Men, and we’ll never be able to look at him the same again. It’s a good thing though – check out his smoking hot photo inside!
Within moments of the 20 castaways preparing to begin Survivor: Blood Vs. Water, Laura Boneham was voted out of the game and sent to Redemption Island. But because her husband, four-time castaway, Rupert, sacrificed himself and swapped places, she made it nearly to the merge. In every interview Rupert has done for this season — including his one-on-one-interview with me, he constantly claims that he would never, under any circumstance, ever have voted against Laura. She, on the other hand, says it was something she very likely could have been forced to do. Find out why she would have taken her own blood out of the competition in my one-on-one interview with Laura.
