Written By Jennifer Brown. You might have seen a familiar face on TV Guide
Channel’s latest special, “Sexy Stars of Reality TV.” But for
Jennifer Braff, best known as the Cougar who took runner-up in NBC’s Age of Love, reality TV is just the beginning.
On the season finale of Age Of Love, Mark Philippoussis took Amanda and
Jen to Australia to meet his family and friends. When the two women
met Mark’s mom, Jen had a gift, while Amanda was empty handed. Mark’s
family and friends were shocked to learn Jen was forty-eight years
old. Jen dominated the conversation, while Amanda was quiet.
On the seventh episode of Age Of Love, the remaining women watched a
video taped message from Jayanna that called Amanda out for running to
Mark and telling him things that were untrue. Jayanna said “It looks
like she’s going to do whatever it takes to get her guy, and it doesn’t
matter how down and dirty and nasty and backstabbing she has to be.
Amanda is that desperate for a man.”
On the fifth episode of Age of Love, Mark Philippoussis invited Megan,
Maria, and Mary to go to the beach with him. While Mark and the three
women were on their date, Amanda scrubbed down the kitchen and tried to
keep busy to keep her mind off not getting invited.
On the fourth episode of Age of Love, the younger women moved in with
the older women. For the first competition, all the women competed in
a triathlon to reach a yacht with Mark Philippoussis. The first three
women to the yacht got to stay with Mark. Tessa injured her ankle and
had to be taken away in an ambulance.
On the third episode of Age of Love, Mark Philippoussis selected Kelli
and Amanda to go on a dinner date with him. Each woman thought they
were going on an individual date with Mark, but they actually wound up
going to dinner with Mark at the same time. Each girl sat at a table
on opposite sides of the same restaurant, and Mark went back and forth
between the two.
On the second episode of Age of Love, Mark Philippoussis is introduced
to six beautiful women in their twenties. Mark got
to know the six new women over a barbeque and drinks. Mark also got into the
hot tub with the six young women, but the conversation stalled. After
having met the younger women, Mark confessed to missing the older women.
NBC’s new one-hour special “Science of Love: A Modern Dating
Experiment” will attempt to answer the question: When it comes to
finding true love, can scientific methods be applied or does it come
down to simple physical instinct and chemistry? Mark Consuelos (“All My
Children”) hosts the special airing Monday, June 25 (10-11 p.m. ET),
which will use scientists and relationship experts to determine the
perfect match for one single guy.
In the “Age Of Love,” thirty year old Australian tennis star Mark
Philippoussis is initially introduced to a group of seven older women.
Mark is caught off guard by the women’s ages, but he handles it well.
In NBC’s upcoming reality dating series "Age of Love," premiering June
18 (9-10 p.m.) and hosted by popular actor Mark Consuelos ("All My
Children"), seven beautiful, sophisticated women in their 40′s,
playfully nicknamed the "Cougars," will vie for the affections of
30-year-old Australian tennis superstar Mark Philippoussis, with six
fun, enthusiastic women in their 20′s, coined the "Kittens."
